Who We Are

Positioning African migration actors as agents for its sustainable development

The African Non-State Actors Platform on Migration and Development comprises co-organisers and platform members representing civil society, diaspora and trade unions. It currently has 40 member organisations with over 100 individuals engaged in migration governance and development sectors. Our platform is supported by a Secretariat and run through 4 thematic working sub-groups. Rooted in the Abuja Declaration, our work engages state and non-state actors at national, regional and global level to address migration challenges, shape inclusive policies, and promote sustainable development. We focus on GCM, GFMD, Financing for Development, Free movement Protocols in Africa.
